Stone Bridge Kitchen
Type Of Project: Kitchen Remodel
Size: 19’ x 12’ / 228 Square Feet
About the project:
This complete kitchen renovation occurred while our client was enjoying the winter in Florida. This detail is crucial, as it highlights the trust they had in us to manage the project and handle all aspects without direct oversight. During our design process, we meticulously examined every aspect of their kitchen, including their functional requirements and style considerations. The clients primary focus was to maximize their storage, incorporating drawers and pull-outs to eliminate the need for bending and reaching into dark cabinets. We made all these design decisions based on the confidence they had in us, before they left.
Our Favorite Part:
Our client’s Finnish background served as the foundation for the kitchens color scheme. By incorporating a blue and cream two-toned cabinet, we created visual interest throughout the space. The farm sink and bin-pull hardware contributes to this kitchen’s charming cottage atmosphere.
We elevated the oven and microwave into a wall cabinet to allow for easy accessibility, while the drawers beneath provide convenient storage for cookie sheets and baking tins.
The backsplash features European tiles adorn with a floral motif, offering a distinctive design. Each tile has its own pattern and we carefully selected each combination to highlight that individuality.
We designed a cozy breakfast nook with views of the garden, with comfy seating and elegant lantern lighting. Of course, no morning routine is completed without a dedicated Tea & Coffee station! Additionally, the under-cabinet lighting sets a warm glow, guiding our client to their first cup of the day.
